Current Opening Positions for Postdoctoral Researchers (a.k.a., Research Fellows)
We are looking for Research Fellows with a strong background in mathematics, statistics, physics, or computer science to collaborate on cutting-edge research in quantum learning theory, quantum AI, and AI-driven advancements in quantum science.
Research Fellows for Quantum + AI
The corresponding Research Fellows will be funded by the JST–A*STAR Quantum 2025 grant. Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong research performance in Quantum AI, including but not limited to quantum learning theory, quantum AI algorithm design (for both fault-tolerant and NISQ regimes), and AI-driven approaches for quantum computing. Applicants must hold a PhD degree at the time of appointment.- Application deadline: 30 April 2026

Research Fellows for QEC
The corresponding Research Fellows will be funded by Singapore national initiatives. Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong research performance in QEC and AI, including but not limited to QEC encoding and decoding, and QEC architecture design. Admission Requirements
- English Proficiency: TOEFL (≥100) or IELTS (≥6.5).
- GRE (recommended but not mandatory).
- GPA Requirement: Minimum 3.2/4.0 (or equivalent to 80/100 or 4.0/5.0 scale).
For (Remote) Visiting Students and Research Associates/Assistants
We are looking for visiting students and research associates/assistants. The following applications will be given special attention:
- Senior undergraduate students or soon-to-graduate master students interested in postgraduate study at NTU. You are encouraged to apply for short-term visiting positions (~2-3 months) via the Global Connect Fellowship.
